On 28th April 2014, upon invitation of the Mayor of Torrevecchia Teatina (Italy), Mario A. Rosato gave a conference on biogas technology and leaded the public debate on the pros and cons of a project to produce biogas from urban waste.

On 19th November 2013 Mario A. Rosato gave a lecture on sustainable technologies at the IUAV (University Institute of Architecture of Venice). The arguments ranged from the definition of sustainable technology to an example of sustainable palm oil production in Africa.

The Green Organisation honoured Sustainable Technologies with a Green Apple Award in the category “European Companies”. The ceremony took place in London, in the House of Commons. Mario A. Rosato received the prize from the hands of Miss England Green.

The Conference took place from 7th to 9th Nov. 2013 and gathered over 700 delegates from throughout the world. All conference background materials are available on UNIDO’s website . Sustainable Technologies was recognized by UNIDO’s Director , Mr. Li Yong, because of its active participation in the event.

Conference on which biomass types are more suitable for the agroenergy development of Sicily. The venue was held in the Experimental Agricultural Station of Caltagirone, Sicily (Italy) on 7th December 2012. The first results of the MALENA Project were presented to a public of over 50 key stakeholders of the local agricultural sector, Authorities and University researchers.
