Biogas sustainability in Carlow, Ireland

Within the research collaboration and professional exchange started with BioLogic Ltd., Irish leader in the development of sustainable solutions and technical training, Mario A. Rosato gave a lecture in Carlow, Ireland, on 22nd April 2014. The subject will be the sustainability of biogas plants. Public debate on the biogas project in Torrevecchia Teatina

On 28th April 2014, upon invitation of the Mayor of Torrevecchia Teatina (Italy), Mario A. Rosato gave a conference on biogas technology and leaded the public debate on the pros and cons of a project to produce biogas from urban waste.

Lecture on sustainable technologies at the university of Padua

Mario A. Rosato was invited by LEDS – L’Energia Degli Studenti (students’ organization of the engineering faculty) to give a lecture on sustainability on 12th March 2014 . The slides can be downloaded here (in Italian only).

Lecture on Sustainability at the IUAV

On 19th November 2013 Mario A. Rosato gave a lecture on sustainable technologies at the IUAV (University Institute of Architecture of Venice). The arguments ranged from the definition of sustainable technology to an example of sustainable palm oil production in Africa.

Sustainable Technologies receives the Green Apple Award 2013

The Green Organisation honoured Sustainable Technologies with a Green Apple Award in the category “European Companies”. The ceremony took place in London, in the House of Commons. Mario A. Rosato received the prize from the hands of Miss England Green.

UNIDO’s conference on green industry in Guangzhou

The Conference took place from 7th to 9th Nov. 2013 and gathered over 700 delegates from throughout the world. All conference background materials are available on UNIDO’s website . Sustainable Technologies was recognized by UNIDO’s Director , Mr. Li Yong, because of its active participation in the event.

International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award

Partners in Protecting the Planet (PPP) has awarded Sustainable Technologies the bronze prize to the excellence in corporate social responsibility (CSR) , in the category “INTERNATIONAL”.

The award ceremony took place in London, on board of the HMS Belfast , on 29th July 2013
