The rational method for managing biogas plants becomes global

Biogas from reeds

Common reed (Phragmites australis) is a good substrate for the sustainable production of biogas. Our research’s results were presented by Mario A. Rosato during Fieragricole 2016 in Verona (Italy), during the closing congress of the GR3 project, Grass to Green Gas Resource, organized by Veneto Agricoltura (in Italian).

Sustainable Technologies’s CEO, Mario A. Rosato, was nominated one of the jurymen to decide the  Adriano Olivetti Award, 2015. The contest, organized by the Italian Association of Educators (AIF), intends to honour companies, institutes and individual characterized by the excellence in educational projects. There are ten categories of awards in which each project can compete. The award ceremony will take place in Florence on 3rd December 2015, within the 1st Congress on New Education for Renewed Business.

Conference on biogas plant optimization (in Italian) Ecomondo 2015

During the fair Ecomondo 2015, Sustainable Technologies and Biodermol Ambiente promoted a conference on the different aspects of biogas plant optimization.

 

 

Prof. Mario A. Rosato explains the different parameters and techniques that are useful for the anaerobic digestion process.

 


 

Dr. Massimo Pedò, R&D manager of Biodermol Ambiente, explain the analytical check-ups and the influence of the bioactivators in the anaerobic digestion process.

 

The Floating Anaerobic Digester presented in REGATEC 2015

REGATEC is the most important event in Europe for the scientific community active in the research on anaerobic digestion. The subject chosen for 2015 was biomethane production.

Mario A. Rosato presented a poster showing the potential of the floating anaerobic digester, developed and patented during the H2Ocean project, for the offshore production of biomethane and the reduction of the environmental impact of the maritime traffic and aquaculture.
