Mario A. Rosato has won once more the first prize among 361 solvers competing in the Innocentive Challenge Converting Heat Contained in Waste Water Effluents into Forms of Energy for On-site Use.
The award-winning idea is a thermodynamic heat pump with a novel absorption cycle, capable of producing low-pressure steam from wastewater at 75 °C.
